We were at ETCEI2026

The Emerging Tech Conference Edge Intelligence (ETCEI2026) took place from 22 to 23 October 2026 in Ioannina, Greece bringing together academic and research institutions, and their researchers with entrepreneurs and companies in cutting-edge technological fields.

Organised by HETiA and the University of Ioannina, the conference included presentations of results in both lecture and poster format as well as interesting discussion panels. M4ESTRO was proudly represented by its helvia.ai partners, reinforcing our team’s commitment to ongoing visibility of our research results and to share them with the industrial and research ecosystem.

Presenting the M4ESTRO AI Assistant

On October 23, helvia.ai presented the poster “A Conversational Interface to a Manufacturing-Resilience Toolset”, showcasing to the event’s participants the M4ESTRO AI Assistant, our NLP chatbot solution.

The pressing challenge for resilient manufacturing relies on new digital tools but often their combined complexity can itself become a barrier for the people meant to use them.

The poster outlined how the M4ESTRO AI Assistant addresses this with a single natural-language entry point to M4ESTRO's digital toolset. The chatbot is built on a “common foundation, distinct agents” architecture: one reusable design, instantiated as tailored agents for our pilot sites CARACOL, TRIMEK and IMECH/FAE, with answers grounded in curated knowledge and app-sourced operational data.

Engaging with the community

Throughout ETCEI2026, our experts had the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience, share knowledge, and discuss the trends shaping the future of the industry today.
