Organised by BDVA, Data Week 2025 will center its focus on the fundamental elements of Data Value creation. Artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a pivotal tool in unlocking data value through various means and this is why our event`s theme is “Odyssey of AI: Navigating the Data Seas”. Creating value from data also requires viewing it from an ecosystem perspective and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders, which lays the groundwork needed for research excellence, that is required to be rapidly put into action for competitiveness and societal benefit.

This year, Data Week will be a 2-day physical event taking place in Athens, Greece between 27-28 May. The event is organised by the Big Data Value Association, hosted by Cosmote – OTE and in collaboration with the following BDVA members: Athens Technology Center S.A. (ATC), Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), CORE Innovation Center, Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications – National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, FORTH and Neuropublic.

Web Summit 2024 will take place at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 11 to 14, 2024. At a time of great uncertainty for many industries and, indeed, the world itself, the Web Summit gathers policymakers, heads of state, and the founders and CEOs of technology companies and fast-growing startups, to ask a simple question: Where to next?

The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI. 

This year, the event will take place in Budapest, Hungary from 2-4 October 2024. The dates of EBDVF 2024 are subject to potential change, depending on unforeseen external factors and they will be confirmed as soon as possible.
The EBDVF 2024 is organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), in collaboration with AI&AUT EXPO, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Ideal-ist, Neumann Technology Platform and the Institute for Computer Science and Control (SZTAKI).

The European Manufacturing Conference is a biennial event that brings together key players in the European manufacturing industry, including policymakers, industry representatives, as well as academia, research & technology organisations, startups, scaleups and innovators.

The 18th IFAC Symposium on Information Control Problems in Manufacturing (INCOM2024) aims to bring together experts from various fields to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the context of twin transformation, under the flagship topic of “sustainable transformation towards autonomous manufacturing systems”. The conference will especially address digital twinning and simulation from both design and operation perspectives for sustainable manufacturing and supply chains, green factories and logistic networks, federated manufacturing platforms, virtualization, global manufacturing, autonomous and self-learnable systems, data-driven industrial engineering, Industry 5.0 strategies, models, and technologies, human interaction in robotics and cyber-physical systems as well as new advances in robotics and conversational AI applications in manufacturing and supply chain systems.

It is in the air — an unmistakable atmosphere of excitement at M4ESTRO! The Digital Transformation Summit is just around the corner, and we will be there! The renowned event is part of the high-level Madeira Digital Transformation Week event being held this year on 24 - 28 June 2024 on Madeira Island, in Portugal. Academic experts, industry leaders, and key policymakers will convene in Madeira to focus their attention on the most promising ways forward for the digital transformation, at both European and regional levels. Happening from 11 to 12:30 in Room Lagoon I, the workshop promises enlightening insights on: collaborative business models: from profit-based to circular economy and Manufacturing as a Service; enabling technologies (Digital Twins, Data Spaces, and AI) for collaborative value networks; enabling technologies for Manufacturing as a service (MaaS); governance perspective and certification: Data sharing and data policies, certification; and Digital Product Passport approaches.
